The YG300 projects images from 24 to 120 inches depending on distance. For a 100-inch screen, place the projector about 8–10 feet from the wall. A white wall or projection screen gives the sharpest results. The closer to the surface, the brighter the image.
Connect via HDMI cable (USB-C or Lightning to HDMI adapter for phones) or use a wireless dongle like Chromecast or Amazon Fire Stick directly in the HDMI port. You can also plug a USB drive or MicroSD card to play files directly — no phone needed.
The YG300 (400–600 lumens) performs best in a dark or dim room. In full daylight the image will be washed out. In the evening or with curtains closed, the picture quality is excellent. Think of it the same way you'd dim the lights for a movie at home.
Yes! The YG300 has a built-in speaker for casual viewing. For a proper home theater experience, connect external speakers via the 3.5mm jack or HDMI. A small Bluetooth speaker works great too — just pair it separately.
